What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. They let a site remember things between visits: preferences, sessions, analytics. Similar mechanisms include local storage and session storage.
What this site uses
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics (Plausible) are cookieless and do not track you across other sites. We use one non-essential cookie, for the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and it is set only if you choose Accept in our cookie banner. We also store your Accept or Reject choice itself in a small first-party cookie for 12 months, so we do not have to ask again on every visit. Nothing non-essential loads until you accept.
The Meta Pixel
If you accept, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It records which pages you view and whether you book a call or send an enquiry, which lets us measure which of our ads bring people to the site and show our ads to people who have already visited. If you reject, or ignore the banner, the Pixel never loads and no data goes to Meta. Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Hosting and infrastructure
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may set short-lived cookies for infrastructure purposes (e.g. detecting visit regions for serverless routing). These are essential to the operation of the site and not used to track you across other sites.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to reopen the banner and switch between Accept and Reject. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, which will not affect your ability to read this site.
Changes to this policy
If we add any further technology that stores information on your device, we will update this page and make sure it is covered by the cookie banner before that change takes effect.
